Weekly Road Closures: June 4-10

The state Department of Transportation issued its weekly road and lane closures for the week of June 4-10. Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. All projects are weather permitting.

There will be no daytime roadwork scheduled on Friday, June 10 in observance of King Kamehameha I Day, unless permitted. Kuhio Highway special use lanes will not be operational.

1) LĪHU‘E

Right lane closure of Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) in the northbound direction near mile marker 0.5, Ehiku Street, on Monday, June 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., for Hawaiian Telcom maintenance work.

2) WAILUA

ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW AD

Right shoulder closure and narrowed lanes of Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) in the southbound direction between mile markers 5.7 and 6.7, in the vicinity of Leho Drive and Kapa‘a Bypass, on Monday, June 6 through Thursday, June 10, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for Kūhiō Highway Short-Term Improvements.

3) KAPA‘A (WEEKEND/WEEKLY/NIGHT WORK)

Single lane closure of Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) possible in either direction between mile markers 9.8 and 10.8, vicinity of Kapoli Street and Mailihuna Road, on Sunday evening, June 5 through Friday morning, June 10, from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., for pavement reconstruction and resurfacing.

4) PRINCEVILLE

Right lane closure of Kūhiō Highway (Route 560) in the northbound direction between mile markers 3.4 and 3.7, Kumu Road and Waipa Stream, on Monday, June 6 through Thursday, June 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for guardrail clearing and tree trimming.

— KUAMO‘O ROAD (ROUTE 580) —

1) WAILUA

Single lane closure on Kuamo‘o Road (Route 580) possible in either direction between mile markers 0.0 and 2.8, Kuhio Highway and Kamalu Road, on Monday, June 6 through Thursday, June 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for guardrail repair.
