Lanes for Kōloa, Maluhia Roads to Close June 6-16
The Department of Public Works Roads Division announced one-lane closures for portions of Kōloa from June 6 to June 16, weekdays, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., weather permitting.
These short lane closures are necessary for shoulder maintenance, grass cutting, and tree trimming work.
Work will occur on the following dates:
Kōloa Road, between Po‘ipū Road to Ala Kalanikaumaka, from June 6 to June 9; and
Maluhia Road, between Waila‘au Road and Kōloa Road, from June 13 to June 16.
There will be no work on Friday, June 10, in observance of the King Kamehameha Day Holiday.
Flaggers will be positioned at the ends of the work zone to direct traffic. Motorists are encouraged to allow for extra travel time when driving near the work area and follow all construction traffic controls. Please exercise caution and drive slowly when commuting through the work area.
