Reminder: Job Fair Scheduled Friday

Those looking for employment on the island have an opportunity this week to check out a variety of available positions from several businesses during an upcoming job fair.

The job fair is scheduled for 3-6 p.m. Friday, May 27, at the Kaua‘i Philippine Cultural Center in Puhi. It is a collaborative effort between the county, Kaua‘i Economic Development Board, Kaua‘i Filipino Chamber of Commerce, American Job Center-Kaua‘i, Pacific Missile Range Facility – Morale, Welfare and Recreation and the state Workforce Development Division.

Businesses representing several different industries on Kaua‘i will offer an assortment of employment opportunities. Job seekers will not only have a chance to make a great first impression but also learn about potential employers’ qualifications and meet staff who can answer employment questions.
