Lane Closure at Kōloa Road in Lāwa‘i Scheduled May 23-27

A closure at the turn lane off Kōloa Road onto Kaumuali‘i Highway is scheduled from May 23-27 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., the Department of Public Works and Goodfellow Bros. LLC. announced.

The closure is necessary to perform underground utility improvement work.

Eastbound motorists from the South Side, Kōloa, or Lāwa‘i are recommended to take Maluhia Road to access Kaumuali‘i Highway. Signs will be in the work zone area. Make appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary road closure, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to get to destinations.
