Online Public Meeting Scheduled For Proposed Improvements at Salt Pond Beach Park
The public will get a chance to hear information and express any concerns this week about proposed improvements to an island beach park.
The county Department of Parks and Recreation and its consultant, Community Planning & Engineering Inc., will conduct an online public information meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 5, for planned improvements at Salt Pond Beach Park. Community Planning & Engineering Inc. officials will be on hand to address concerns and answer questions.
The improvements will involve renovating existing park features to conform with the American Disability Act.
“The proposed improvements will evaluate the comfort stations, paths of travel, security gates, pavilions, camping sites, picnic tables, parking lot and all other parking areas,” said a news release from the county.
