Lane Closures Scheduled For Portions of Hanapēpē Road

Crews will be cleaning catch basins and drainpipes this week on Hanapēpē Road, requiring occasional one-lane closures on portions of the roadway.

The county Department of Public Works Roads Division announced that the closures will occur from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. beginning Thursday, May 5, through May 9.

“Motorists are encouraged to allow for extra travel time when driving near the work area and follow all construction traffic controls,” the county said in a news release. “Flaggers will be positioned at the ends of the closures to assist motorists through the work zone.”
