Weekly Road Closures: April 30 to May 6

The state Department of Transportation issued its weekly list of road and lane closures for April 30 to May 6. Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. All projects are weather permitting.

— KAUMUALI‘I HIGHWAY (ROUTE 50) —

1) KAPALAWAI TO WAIMEA

Right lane closure of Kaumuali‘i Highway (Route 50) possible in either direction between mile markers 22.1 and 22.7, Poke Road and Ala Wai Road, on Monday, May 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for bridge maintenance and sign installation.

— KŪHIŌ HIGHWAY (ROUTES 56/560) —

1) WAILUA

Right shoulder closure and narrowed lanes of Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) in the southbound direction between mile markers 5.7 and 6.7, in the vicinity of Leho Drive and Kapa‘a Bypass, on Monday, May 2 through Friday, May 6, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for road and shoulder work.

2) KĪLAUEA

Right lane closure of Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) possible in either direction between mile markers 24 and 25, Kalihiwai Road and Kalihiwai River Bridge, on Monday, May 2 through Friday, May 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for tree trimming.

3) HANALEI

Right lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 560) in the northbound direction between mile markers 1.2 and 2.2, Ohiki Road and Aku Road, on Monday, May 2 through Thursday, May 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for drain clearing and cleaning.

— NAWILIWILI ROAD (ROUTE 58) —

1) LIHUE

Right lane closure on Nawiliwili Road (Route 58) possible in either direction between mile markers 0.2 and 0.8, Wilcox Road and Nawiliwili Road, on Monday, May 2 through Friday, May 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., for grass cutting and drain cleaning.

— KUAMO‘O ROAD (ROUTE 580) —

1) WAILUA

Right lane closure on Kuamo‘o Road (Route 580) possible in either direction between mile markers 0.0 and 2.5, Kūhiō Highway and Kahiko Street, on Monday, May 2 through Thursday, May 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for tree and grass cutting.
