Lane Closures on ‘Akuli Street, Hanamāʻulu Road April 25 to May 6

The Department of Public Works and Goodfellow Bros. LLC., announced that sections of ‘Akuli Street and Hanamāʻulu Road will be under short lane closures from April 25 to May 6, on weekdays, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The closures are necessary for improvements to pedestrian access to the school including new sidewalks, crosswalks, and ADA ramps. Safe walking routes for students, parents, and pedestrians will be provided and are shown in the attached figure below.

Expect brief occasional delays. As a reminder, the speed limit is 15 mph near King Kaumualii Elementary school while school is in session.
