Weekly Road Closures: April 16-22

The state Department of Transportation announced its weekly road and lane closures for April 16-22. Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice.
There will be no daytime roadwork scheduled on Friday, April 15 in observance of Good Friday, unless permitted. Kuhio Highway special use lanes will not be operational.
— KAUMUALI‘I HIGHWAY (ROUTE 50) —
1) HANAPĒPĒ (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Single lane closure of Kaumuali‘i Highway (Route 50) in the westbound direction near mile marker 16.6, Iona Road and Puolo Road, on Thursday evening, April 14 through Saturday morning, April 16, from 8:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., for Hanapepe Bridge work. Alternating traffic will be routed through the open lane.
— KŪHIŌ HIGHWAY (ROUTES 56/560) —
1) WAILUA
Right shoulder closure and narrowed lanes of Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) in the southbound direction between mile markers 5.7 and 6.7, in the vicinity of Leho Drive and Kapa‘a Bypass, on Monday, April 18 through Friday, April 22, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for road and shoulder work.
2) KAPA‘A (WEEKEND/WEEKLY/NIGHT WORK)
Right lane closure of Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) in the southbound direction between mile markers 6.6 and 7.3, Kapa‘a Bypass and Kamoa Road, on Thursday evening, April 14 through Friday morning, April 15, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., for utility work.
3) KAPA‘A
Right lane closure of Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) possible in either direction between mile markers 6.6 and 8.4, Kapa‘a Bypass and Kukui Street, on Monday, April 18 through Friday, April 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for cutting grass.
4) HANALEI
Lane shift/narrowing on Kūhiō Highway (Route 560) near mile marker 1.6, Hanalei Bridge to Hanalei Town, starting Thursday, April 14 until further notice, for emergency traffic zone work due to Hanalei River erosion.
5) WAINIHA
Single lane closure on Kūhiō Highway (Route 560) in the northbound direction between mile markers 6.7 and 7.3, Wainiha Powerhouse Road and Alamihi Road, on Friday, April 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for guardrail work.
