KPD Seeks Public Help Identifying Theft Suspect

The Kauaʿi Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who was seen stealing approximately $2,000 worth of Milwaukee and other brand equipment at Home Depot.

The incident happened at approximately 12:50 p.m. on Friday, March 4.

Police say surveillance footage shows the suspect, an approximately 6-foot-tall, Caucasian male wearing a red plaid shirt and khaki pants, walking out of the store with a cart full of merchandise. According to a report, store employees tried to stop the suspect, but he ran toward the Costco parking lot and was able to escape after abandoning the stolen merchandise.
