Shark Sighting Reported at Hanalei Bay

Ocean Safety Bureau officials advise no swimming at Hanalei Bay until further notice due to a shark sighting.
OSB officials received reports of a possible 8-to-10 foot tiger shark sighted approximately 500 feet in waters offshore, fronting the Pavilion Lifeguard Tower.
As a safety precaution, OSB officials have posted warning signs and are monitoring the area.
Lifeguards will reassess the area tomorrow.
