Kauaʻi Weekly Lane Closures: March 25-April 1

Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation announced lane closures for the week of March 26 to April 1. Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. All projects are weather permitting.

There will be no daytime roadwork scheduled on Friday, March 25 in observance of Prince Kūhiō Day, unless permitted. Kūhiō Highway special use lanes will not be operational.

Right lane closure of Kaumualiʻi Highway (Route 50) possible in either direction between mile markers 17 and 21, Lele Road and Poke Road, on Monday, March 28 through Friday, April 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for grass trimming.

KAUMAKANI TO MAKAWELI

Right lane closure of Kaumualiʻi Highway (Route 50) possible in either direction between mile markers 19 and 20.6, Kaumakani Road and Kaumualiʻi Highway, on Monday, March 28 through Friday, April 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for grass trimming.

— KŪHIŌ HIGHWAY (ROUTE 56) —

WAILUA

Right shoulder closure and narrowed lanes of Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) in the southbound direction between mile markers 5.7 and 6.7, in the vicinity of Leho Drive and Kapaʻa Bypass, on Monday, March 28 through Friday, April 1, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for road and shoulder work.

PRINCEVILLE

Right lane closure on Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) possible in either direction between mile markers 1.3 and 2.2, Ohiki Road and Aku Road, on Monday, March 28 through Friday, April 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for grass and tree trimming.
