Construction work on an island roadway will require a change in where people get on the Kōloa Shuttle near Kōloa School.

The Kaua‘i Bus announced in a news release that a bus stop change to Kōloa Shuttle will take effect Monday, March 21, until further notice, as the Kōloa School bus stop will be closed because of construction work on Po‘ipū Road.

With this closure, the public can use the bus stop at the Kōloa Telephone Exchange, which is located at the Kōloa Road and Po‘ipū Road intersection. The Kōloa Telephone Exchange bus stop is serviced 21 minutes after every hour, between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Updates will be announced when construction work is completed and service resumes at the Kōloa School stop.
