Liquor Control to Begin Collecting Red/Blue Manager Exam, Card Fee
In compliance with the rules of regulation of the Liquor Control Commission, the county Department of Liquor Control will soon begin collecting a fee for the red/blue manager card exam and card.

The department reminded licensees and those involved with the management of any location licensed to sell alcohol in a news release that effective April 1, a $20 fee will be collected for the exam and card.
All red/blue card course scheduling will continue to be entirely online at the liquor department website. According to the release, the option to pay the fees for the exam and card also will be available to pay online.
Any member of management in charge of a licensed location and required to take and pass an exam as a requirement for employment will need to visit the Liquor Control Department website for further information about registering. The news release added that online spaces will be limited to 12 per session in the morning and afternoon each Wednesday, with additional classes being offered in the near future.
Participants in the online exam must be at least 21 years old and have an unexpired, unaltered and undamaged government-issued photo ID.
Those without internet access can request to take the online exam at the Liquor Control Department by calling 808-241-4966. Online access to the course at the department’s office will be limited and only available by appointment.
