Police Ask For Help Locating Missing Man

The Kaua‘i Police Department is seeking assistance from the public to finding a missing man.

According to a news release from the police department, 80-year-old Benjamin Brothers was last seen at about midnight Wednesday, March 16, in his residence in Hanapēpē. He is described as 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighing 100 pounds, with gray hair, blue eyes and is of Caucasian descent.

Earlier Wednesday, KPD personnel located his truck and trailer at Port Allen Small Boat Harbor. Additionally, first responders found his Jet Ski about 6.5 miles offshore.

The Kaua‘i Fire Department and U.S. Coast Guard are also part of the search efforts.

Anyone with information about Brothers’ whereabouts is urged to call KPD dispatch at 241-1711 or Crime Stoppers Kaua‘i at 246-8300.
