Modified Hours For Kekaha Landfill Next Week

The Department of Public Works Solid Waste Division announced modified hours for the Kekaha Landfill on Wednesday, March 23, due to the rescheduled maintenance work on the truck scale. The landfill will be closed to the public at noon.

The landfill will resume its regular hours on Thursday, March 24. The landfill’s regular operating hours are from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for commercial loads and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for residential loads. The landfill is closed for lunch from noon to 12:30 p.m.

Residents are advised to utilize the Hanapēpē refuse transfer station during the half-day closure of the landfill on March 23.
