Weekly Lane Closures: March 12-18

The state Department of Transportation announced its list of road and lane closures for the week of March 12-18. Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. All projects are weather permitting.

— KAUMUALI‘I HIGHWAY (ROUTE 50) —

1) LĪHU‘E TO KALAHEO

Right lane closure of Kaumuali‘i Highway (Route 50) possible in either direction between mile markers 0.0 and 11, Rice Street and Lauoho Road, on Monday, March 14 through Friday, March 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., for grass and tree trimming.

— KŪHIŌ HIGHWAY (ROUTES 56/560) —

1) LĪHU‘E

Right lane closure of Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) in both directions between mile markers 2 and 6, Hanamā‘ulu Road and Kuamo‘o Road, on Monday, March 14 through Friday, March 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for grass and tree trimming.

2) WAILUA

Right shoulder closure and narrowed lanes of Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) in the southbound direction between mile markers 5.7 and 6.7, in the vicinity of Leho Drive and Kapa‘a Bypass, on Monday, March 14 through Friday, March 18, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for road and shoulder work.

3) KĪLAUEA (NIGHT/WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) in both directions between mile markers 19 and 21.6, Kapuna Road and Wailapa Road, on Sunday evening, March 13 through Friday morning, March 18, from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., for road reconstruction and resurfacing.

4) PRINCEVILLE TO HANALEI (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane closure on Kūhiō Highway (Route 560) possible in either direction between mile markers 0.0 and 2, Emmalani Drive and Aku Road, on Saturday, March 12, from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for grass and tree trimming.

5) PRINCEVILLE TO HANALEI

Single lane closure on Kūhiō Highway (Route 560) possible in either direction between mile markers 0.5 and 2.4, Hanalei Plantation Road and Aku Road, on Monday, March 14 through Friday, March 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for grass and tree trimming.
