11 New COVID Cases Reported on Kauaʻi

The Hawai‘i State Department of Health Kaua‘i District Health Office announced 11 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, March 2.

Today’s cases bring the number of active cases to 63, with three hospitalized, and 11,909 cumulative cases. Kaua‘i’s cumulative case count includes 11,828 confirmed locally, eight probable, and 73 positive cases diagnosed elsewhere.

The Department of Health case investigators will generally contact you within a day or two of receiving your positive test result. With the shortened isolation period, in some instances, case investigators will not be able to reach you before the end of your isolation period.
