Due to the high surf warning and hazardous ocean conditions, the Ocean Safety Bureau is advising no swimming at North Shore beaches from west of the pavilion at Hanalei Bay to Kē‘ē Beach.
The National Weather Service issued a high surf warning for all north- and west-facing shores of Kaua‘i and Ni‘ihau in effect through 6 p.m. Feb. 26.
