Missing KCCC Furlough Inmate Arrested

The state Department of Public Safety said in a news release Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 23, that a missing inmate has been arrested.

Missing Kaua’i Community Correctional Center extended furlough inmate Ricardo Navor Jr. was arrested by Kaua’i police and returned to KCCC in Līhuʻe at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday. According to the news release, Navor failed to return to his community residence on Feb. 13.

Navor is serving time for promoting a dangerous drug. An escape charge is expected to be added. His next parole hearing was scheduled for this month.
