A portion of Po‘ipū Road will have a different traffic flow next week.
The county Department of Public Works and Hirata & Associates announced in a news release that sections of Po‘ipū Road, from Kōloa Road to Ainako Street, will be under one-lane closures from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Feb. 28-March 4, weather permitting.
The one-lane closures are necessary for exploratory boring work to obtain data for a future project.
Flaggers will be in the area, and motorists are advised to expect brief and occasional delays.
