DOH Reports 134 New COVID Cases Statewide

The state Department of Health reported 134 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday, bringing the statewide total to 234,835. No new fatalities were reported.

A total of 12 new infections were identified Wednesday on the Big Island. On Tuesday, Hawai‘i County Civil Defense reported 954 active COVID cases and 14 people hospitalized on the Big Island.

COVID at-home test kits are available online.

O‘ahu: 162,910
Hawaiʻi: 25,637
Maui: 27,774
Kaua‘i: 11,328
Moloka‘i: 932
Lana‘i: 618
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 5,636

A total of 8,213 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,304 have died.
