County Schedules Online Registration For Spring Fun Program

The county Department of Parks and Recreation is hosting a children’s program in March and parents can register their keiki online later this week.

According to a news release from Parks and Recreation, online registration for the Spring Fun program is scheduled for 8 a.m. Friday, Feb. 25, on the county’s website. (https://www.kauairecreation.org/)

Enrollment is limited and will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

The cost of enrollment is $30 per child, which does not include lunch. Parents or guardians will need to provide lunch, beverages and snacks for their keiki each day of the program.

All major credit cards will be accepted for payment. In addition, debit and pre-paid credit cards also will be accepted.

The program runs from 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. March 14-18 and is open to children 5-11 years old. Program sites include the Līhu‘e and Kalāheo neighborhood centers.

Masks are required, and social-distancing guidelines will be observed.
