Garden Isle Weekly Lane Closures: Feb.12-18

The state Department of Transportation announced the following land and road closures for the week of Feb. 12-18. Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. All projects are weather permitting.

— KAUMUALI‘I HIGHWAY (ROUTE 50) —

1) ELE‘ELE (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane closure of Kaumuali‘i Highway (Route 50) in the westbound direction between mile markers 15.7 and 16.1, Halewili Road and Poni Road, on Saturday, Feb. 12, from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for drain clearing work.

Right lane closure of Kaumuali‘i Highway (Route 50) in both directions between mile markers 17 and 20.7, Lele Road and Kaumakani Avenue, on Saturday, Feb. 12, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., for grass cutting.

3) PAKALA VILLAGE

Right lane closure of Kaumuali‘i Highway (Route 50) in the southbound direction between mile markers 20.9 and 21.4, Ala Wai Road and Poke Road, on Monday, Feb. 14 through Thursday, Feb. 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for tree trimming.

— KŪHIŌ HIGHWAY (ROUTES 56/560) —

1) WAILUA

Right shoulder closure and narrowed lanes of Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) in the southbound direction between mile markers 5.7 and 6.7, in the vicinity of Leho Drive and Kapa‘a Bypass, on Monday, Feb. 14 through Friday, Feb. 18, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for road and shoulder work.

2) KEALIA (24-HOUR/WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Right shoulder closure and realignment of lanes of Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) in the southbound direction between mile markers 11.8 and 13, Makanani Street and Kukuihale Road, on Sunday, Feb. 13 through Friday, Feb. 18, 24-hours-a-day, for shoulder work.

3) KĪLAUEA (NIGHT/WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) in both directions between mile markers 19 and 21.6, Kapuna Road and Wailapa Street, on Sunday evening, Feb. 13 through Friday morning, Feb. 18, from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., for road reconstruction and resurfacing.

4) KĪLAUEA

Right lane closure on Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) in both directions between mile markers 21 and 25, Wai‘akalua Street and Kalihiwai River, on Monday, Feb. 14 through Friday, Feb. 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for grass cutting.

5) PRINCEVILLE (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane closure on Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) in both directions between mile markers 26.6 and 27.3, Ka Haku Road and Anini Stream, on Saturday, Feb. 12, from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for grass and tree trimming.

6) PRINCEVILLE

Right lane closure on Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) in both directions between mile markers 26.9 and 28.1, Ka Haku Road and Anini Stream, on Monday, Feb. 14 through Friday, Feb. 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for grass and tree trimming.

7) PRINCEVILLE

Right lane closure on Kūhiō Highway (Route 560) in the southbound direction between mile markers 6 and 6.3, near Ananalu Road, on Monday, Feb. 14 through Friday, Feb. 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for tree trimming.
