707 New Cases, 8 Deaths Reported Friday

The state Department of Health reported 707 new COVID-19 cases Friday, bringing the statewide total to 230,238. Eight new fatalities were reported.

A total of 55 new infections were identified Friday on the Garden Isle.

A total of 7,861 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,247 have died.
