Motor Vehicle Registration Division to Close Early Later This Week

The Motor Vehicle Registration division of the Department of Motor Vehicles will close early one day later this week to accommodate staff training.

The county reported in a news release that the division will close at 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10. Normal hours will resume Friday, Feb. 11.

The last customers of the Motor Vehicle Registration division will be seen at 2:30 p.m. Thursday. The Drivers Licensing division will remain open during regular operating hours.

The DMV is open to all customers from 8:45 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday, except for state and federal holidays. Kupuna Hour is from 8-8:45 a.m.

Those with appointments can check in up to 15 minutes prior to their appointment time. Anyone who is more than five minutes late will have their appointment canceled and be considered a walk-in customer.

E-ticket and walk-in customers are served as time permits.
