Weekly Road Closures: Feb. 5-11

The state Department of Transportation announced the following lane closures for the week of Feb. 5-11. Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. All projects are weather permitting.

— KAUMUALII HIGHWAY (ROUTE 50) —

1) LĪHU‘E

Right lane closure of Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) in the eastbound direction near mile marker 0.0, Rice Street, in the vicinity of Leho Drive and Kapa‘a Bypass, on Monday, Feb. 7 through Friday, Feb. 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., for grass cutting work.

2) LĪHU‘E TO WAIMEA

Right lane closure of Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) in both directions between mile markers 3.2 and 22.4, Kipu Road and Waimea River, on Monday Feb. 7 through Friday, Feb. 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for guardrail repair.

3) KEKAHA

Right lane closure of Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) in the eastbound direction between mile markers 25 and 27, Akepa Road and Ulili Road, on Wednesday, Feb. 9 through Friday, Feb. 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., for grass cutting work.

— KŪHIŌ HIGHWAY (ROUTES 56/560) —

1) WAILUA (NIGHT/WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Right shoulder closure and narrowed lanes of Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) in the southbound direction between mile markers 5.7 and 6.7, in the vicinity of Leho Drive and Kapa‘a Bypass, on Sunday evening, Feb. 6 through Friday morning, Feb. 11, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., for road and shoulder work.

2) KEALIA (24-HOUR/WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Right shoulder closure of Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) in the southbound direction between mile markers 11.8 and 13, Makanani Street and Kukuihale Road, on Sunday, Feb. 6 through Friday, Feb. 11, 24-hours-a-day, for shoulder work.

3) KĪLAUEA (NIGHT/WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) in both directions between mile markers 19 and 21.6, Kapuna Road and Wailapa Street, on Sunday evening, Feb. 6 through Friday morning, Feb. 11, from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., for road reconstruction and resurfacing.

4) KĪLAUEA

Right lane closure on Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) in both directions between mile markers 21 and 25, Waiakalua Street and Kalihiwai River, on Monday, Feb. 7 through Friday, Feb. 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for grass cutting work.

5) PRINCEVILLE (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Right lane closure on Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) in both directions between mile markers 26.5 and 28, Ka Haku Road and Princeville Airport, on Saturday, Feb. 5, from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Monday, Feb. 7 through Friday, Feb. 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for grass cutting work.

6) PRINCEVILLE

Right lane closure on Kūhiō Highway (Route 560) in the southbound direction between mile markers 6 and 6.3, near Ananalu Road, on Monday, Feb. 7 through Friday, Feb. 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for tree trimming.

— HALEWILI ROAD (ROUTE 540) —

1) NUMILA

Right lane closure on Halewili Road (Route 540) in both directions between mile markers 1 and 2.5, Pu‘u Road and McBride New Mill Road, on Monday, Feb. 7 through Friday, Feb. 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., for guardrail repair.
