The state Department of Transportation released its weekly lane closure notice for Jan. 29 through Feb. 4. Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. All projects are weather permitting.

— KŪHIŌ HIGHWAY (ROUTE 56) —

1) WAILUA (NIGHT/WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Right shoulder closure and narrowed lanes of Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) in the southbound direction between mile markers 5.7 and 6.7, in the vicinity of Leho Drive and Kapa‘a Bypass, on Sunday evening, Jan. 30 through Friday morning, Feb. 4, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., for road and shoulder work.

2) KEALIA (24-HOUR/WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Right shoulder closure of Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) in the southbound direction between mile markers 11.8 and 13, Makanani Street and Kukuihale Road, on Sunday, Jan. 30 through Friday, Feb. 4, 24-hours-a-day, for shoulder work.

3) KĪLAUEA (NIGHT WORK)

ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW AD

Single lane closure on Kūhiō Highway (Route 56) in both directions between mile markers 19 and 21.6, Kapuna Road and Wailapa Street, on Sunday evening, Jan. 30 through Friday morning, Feb. 4, from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., for road reconstruction and resurfacing.
