6,252 New COVID-19 Cases Reported Tuesday

The state Department of Health reported 6,252 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, bringing the statewide total to 180,838. No new fatalities were reported.

A total of 547 new infections were identified Tuesday on the Garden Isle.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:

  • O‘ahu: 128,090
  • Hawaiʻi: 19,249
  • Maui: 20,805
  • Kaua‘i: 7,241
  • Moloka‘i: 705
  • Lana‘i: 349
  • Pending: 0
  • Out-of-State: 4,399

A total of 5,434 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,126 have died.
