4,700 New Cases Reported Monday

The state Department of Health reported 4,700 new COVID-19 cases Monday, bringing the statewide total to 174,586. No new fatalities were reported.

A total of 181 new infections were identified Monday on the Garden Isle.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:

  • O‘ahu: 124,141
  • Hawaiʻi: 18,415
  • Maui: 19,989
  • Kaua‘i: 6,694
  • Moloka‘i: 681
  • Lana‘i: 339
  • Pending: 0
  • Out-of-State: 4,327

A total of 5,434 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,126 have died.
