Kekaha Landfill Closed to Residents

The Kekaha Landfill and greenwaste are closed to residents due to issues with the scaling system, county officials reported Thursday, Jan. 13.
The landfill will be closed starting today, Jan. 14, and until further notice. Officials advise the public to use the Hanapēpē refuse transfer station for disposing of residential trash and green waste.
Updates will be provided when the landfill reopens for residential use.
