Hanalei Bridge Closed Due to Flooding
Kūhiʻō Highway in the vicinity of the Hanalei Bridge is closed due to flooding.
At approximately 6:30 a.m., a flash flood warning was issued for Kauaʻi this morning due to heavy rains occurring over the island. As of 9:30 a.m., the warning was lifted.
Updates on the highway closure will be announced when new information is available. Motorists are advised to continue to exercise caution on all roadways.
Additionally, a brown water advisory has been issued for Kauaʻi as heavy rain has resulted in stormwater runoff entering into coastal waters.
