Weather Impacts Services at Transfer Stations

Current weather conditions are impacting services available at various transfer stations.
According to the Solid Waste Division, green waste is closed at the Līhu‘e refuse transfer station. Hanalei refuse transfer station is accepting green waste and trash only – all other services are closed.
The Kapa‘a refuse transfer station is only accepting trash, and all other services are closed.
Additionally, trash collection service this week may experience interruption due to impacts from the weather.
