Voter Service Center Opens for Special Election
The Voter Service Center (VSC) for the Prosecuting Attorney Special Primary Election opened at 8 a.m. Monday, Dec. 6, 2021, in the basement of the Historic County Annex Building in Līhu‘e.
The VSC offers accessible in-person voting and same day registration and serves as a mail ballot collection site. Accessible in-person voting and same day registration services are only for voters who have not yet returned a voted mail ballot or for unregistered individuals wishing to register and vote.
Services will be offered during the following dates and times:
December 6, 2021, to December 17, 2021
Monday through Saturday (closed Sunday)
8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
December 18, 2021 (Special Primary Election Day)
7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
While inside the VSC, voters should wear a mask covering their nose and mouth and maintain six feet of separation from nearby individuals. Voters at the VSC may also experience longer than desired wait times as only a limited number of voters will be allowed to enter the voting area at any given time. However, any voter in line at the time of closing will be allowed to vote.
