Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation announced road and lane closures on Kauaʻi for the week of Dec. 4-10. Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. All projects are weather permitting.

— KŪHIʻŌ HIGHWAY (ROUTES 56/560) —

WAILUA (24-HOUR/WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Right shoulder closure and narrowed lanes of Kūhiʻō Highway (Route 56) in the southbound direction between mile markers 5.7 and 6.6, in the vicinity of Leho Drive and Kapaʻa Bypass, on Sunday, Dec. 5 through Friday, Dec. 10, 24-hours-a-day, for road and shoulder work.

ANAHOLA (24-HOUR/WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Right shoulder closure and lane realignments of Kūhiʻō Highway (Route 56) in the southbound direction between mile markers 11.8 and 13, Makanani Street and Kūhiʻō Highway, on Sunday, Dec. 5 through Friday, Dec. 10, 24-hours a day, for shoulder work.

ANAHOLA

ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW AD

Right lane closure of Kūhiʻō Highway (Route 56) in the northbound direction between mile markers 13.7 and 14.1, Kikoʻo Loop and Aliomanu Road, on Monday, Dec. 6 through Friday, Dec. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for utility equipment installation.

KĪLAUEA

Right lane closure of Kūhiʻō Highway (Route 56) in both directions between mile markers 18.5 and 23, Kapuna Road and Malulani Street, on Monday, Dec. 6 through Friday, Dec. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for landscaping maintenance.

PRINCEVILLE

Single lane closure of Kūhiʻō Highway (Route 560) in the westbound direction between mile markers 1.7 and 1.8, in the vicinity of the Hanalei National Wildlife Refuge, on Monday, Dec. 6 through Friday, Dec. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for drilling work.
