Water Service Shutdown Scheduled in Kapaʻa

A water service shutdown is scheduled in Kapaa starting this morning at 8 a.m. to allow work to connect a new six-inch waterline to the existing system.

The shutdown is scheduled for Ohelo Road, Lilia Place, Kahawai Place, a portion of Kuamo’o Road; from Melia Street to Kahawai Place and includes approximately 12 customers on the north-end of Haleilio Road near the intersection of Haleilio Road and Kaulana Road.

The shutoff is scheduled till 3 p.m., weather permitting.

Customers located in the service area are advised to prepare for the service shutdown by taking the following steps:

• Store water to meet your needs until water service can be restored.
• Notify neighbors, family, and friends of the shutdown.
• Those with faulty water heaters should ensure their water heaters do not empty during the shutdown.
