Sidewalk Construction Scheduled in Kapaʻa

A portion of Mailihuna Road will be closed from Nov. 22-26 for sidewalk construction.

The work occur will between the hours of 7 .m. to 3:30 p.m. No construction will be conducted on Nov. 25 in observance of the Thanksgiving Day holiday.

Additionally, temporary lane closures on Hauʻaʻala Road may occur for waterline work.

A temporary traffic detour route will be available through Kolohala Road and Hau’a’ala Road. Motorists are advised to expect brief and occasional delays.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution and drive slow when commuting through the work area and Kolohala Road, which is narrow and near the homes of residents.
