A portion of Mailihuna Road will be closed from Nov. 15-19 for sidewalk construction in Kapaʻa.
Additionally, temporary lane closures on Hauʻaʻala Road may occur for waterline work, according to the Department of Public Works. A temporary traffic detour route will be available through Kolohala Road and Hau’a’ala Road. Motorists are advised to expect brief and occasional delays.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution and drive slow when commuting through the work area and Kolohala Road, which is narrow and near homes of residents.
