Kauaʻi Weekly Lane Closures: Nov. 6-12

Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation announced weekly road and lane closures for Nov. 6-12. Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. All projects are weather permitting.

There will be no daytime roadwork scheduled on Thursday, Nov. 11, in observance of Veteran’s Day, unless permitted. Kūhiʻō Highway special-use lanes will not be operational.

— KAUMUALIʻI HIGHWAY (ROUTE 50) —

KIPU

Right lane closure of Kaumualiʻi Highway (Route 50) in both directions between mile markers 3.9 and 5.9, Puʻuana Road and Kahili Road, on Monday, Nov. 8 through Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for utility work.

— KŪHIʻŌ HIGHWAY (ROUTE 56) —

WAILUA

Right lane closure of Kūhiʻō Highway (Route 56) in the northbound direction between mile markers 4.2 and 5, Kūhiʻō Highway and Leho Drive, on Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., for utility work.

WAILUA (24-HOUR/WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Narrowed lanes of Kūhiʻō Highway (Route 56) in the southbound direction between mile markers 5.7 and 6.6, in the vicinity of Leho Drive and Kapaʻa Bypass, on Sunday, Nov. 7 through Friday, Nov. 12, 24-hours-a-day, for road and shoulder work.

KAPAʻA

Right lane closure of Kūhiʻō Highway (Route 56) in both directions between mile markers 8.5 and 9.5, Niu Street and Kūhiʻō Highway, on Monday, Nov. 8 through Friday, Nov. 12, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., for moving K rails in the Kaikea area.

ANAHOLA (24-HOUR/WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Lane realignment of Kūhiʻō Highway (Route 56) in the southbound direction between mile markers 11.8 and 13, Makanani Street and Kūhiʻō Highway, on Sunday, Nov. 7 through Friday, Nov. 12, 24-hours a day, for shoulder work without lane closure.

KĪLAUEA

Right lane closure of Kūhiʻō Highway (Route 56) in both directions between mile markers 18.5 and 21, Kapuna Road and Waiakalua Street, on Monday, Nov. 8 through Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., for road reconstruction and resurfacing.

KĪLAUEA

Right lane closure of Kūhiʻō Highway (Route 56) in both directions between mile markers 19 and 21.6, Kapuna Road and Wailapa Road, on Monday, Nov. 8 through Friday, Nov. 12, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., for road reconstruction and resurfacing.

KĪLAUEA (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Right lane closure of Kūhiʻō Highway (Route 56) in both directions between mile markers 25.1 and 26.5, Kalihiwai River and Anini Vista Drive, on Monday, Nov. 8 through Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for guardrail and landscaping work.
