Upcoming Roadwork Scheduled on Kōloa Road

Partial lane closures on multiple sections of Kōloa Road are scheduled to start next week for punch list items and shoulder work.

Work will start Nov. 1 and continue throughout the week to Nov. 5 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists are advised to expect brief and occasional delays and to exercise caution when commuting through the work area.

Ōma‘o Road is a narrow residential road that is not intended to be used as a detour route and is not designed for high volumes of traffic or truck traffic. The speed limit is 25 mph for the entire length of Ōma‘o Road. Through trucks are prohibited on Ōma‘o Road for the duration of this project.
