State Surpasses 70% Vaccination Rate

The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 117 new COVID-19 cases Monday, bringing the statewide total to 82,511. Four new COVID-related fatalities were also reported.

The state’s seven-day average is now 115 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.7%.

A total of 4,592 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 876 have died.

To date, a total of 2,111,006 doses of vaccination have been administered statewide, with 70.2% of the population fully vaccinated and 78.5% who have received at least one dose.
