The private road adjacent to Uhelekawawa Canal in Kapa’a will be closed for pavement striping until Friday, Aug. 27, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The private road is being restriped to have one-way vehicular traffic westbound only and a 10-foot-wide bike-pedestrian path as an extension to the existing Ke Ala Hele Makalae path. The private road connects Kūhiō Highway to The ISO hotel and Bull Shed Restaurant and is bordered by the Waipouli Beach Resort and the Uhelekawawa Canal to the north and Kenji Burger to the south.

The public will be able to access the ISO and Bull Shed Restaurant by Kamoa Road at the Waipouli Town Center and Kūhiō Highway traffic signal.
