KPD Searching For Missing Woman

UPDATE: Ranell Lucero has been located.

The Kauaʿi Police Department (KPD) is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing person.

Ranell Lucero, age 66, who has no known address, has been missing since Aug. 15, which was the last time she checked in with her family on the Big Island.

Lucero is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds. She has gray/brown straight hair, brown eyes and is of Hawaiian descent. She has been known to frequent the Kapaʿa area.

Anyone with information about Lucero’s whereabouts on Kaua‘i is urged to call KPD Dispatch at 241-1711. Those who wish to remain anonymous may leave a tip by visiting the Crime Stoppers Kauaʿi website at www.cskauai.org.
