893 New Cases Reported
The Hawaiʻi Department Health reported 893 new COVID-19 cases as of Sunday, bringing the statewide total to 56,099. One new COVID-related death was reported.
A total of 37 new infections were identified on Kaua‘i Sunday.
The state’s two-week average is now 674 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 8.1%. A map documenting new cases by district across all islands can be accessed at the DOH website.

Out-of-State: 2,061
A total of 3,204 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 564 have died.
