DOH: 26 New COVID Cases Reported on Kauaʻi

The Hawaiʻi Department Health reported 763 new COVID-19 cases as of Saturday, bringing the statewide total to 55,206. One new COVID-related death was reported.

The DOH reports 26 new cases on Kauaʻi.

The state’s two-week average is now 659 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 7.9%. A map documenting new cases by district across all islands can be accessed at the DOH website.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:

Maui: 6,528
Hawai‘i: 6,291

Moloka‘i: 143
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 2,053

A total of 3,149 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 563 have died.

To date, a total of 1,820,538 doses of the vaccine have been administered statewide, with 61.7% of the population fully vaccinated at 69.9% who have received at least one shot.
