The clinic is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at 4491 Kolopa St., behind State Farm. Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome.

For an appointment, register online at PreventCOVIDHI.com or call 808-635-4968. Photo ID is required. No insurance or physician’s order is needed.

“Mahalo to Līhu‘e Pharmacy, the Hawaiʻi Department of Health, and the National Kidney Foundation of Hawai‘i Consortium for providing this free drive-thru testing option,” said Mayor Derek SK Kawakami. “Due to increased demand, the County’s testing center at the Convention Hall has been experiencing long wait times, especially in the morning. If you are experiencing symptoms, please avoid the Convention Hall site and get tested at one of the drive-thru options such as Līhu‘e Pharmacy, Wilcox, KVMH, or the Kapa‘a Longs. The drive-up sites allow you to be tested in a safe environment that limits exposure to other patients and staff.”

A full list of testing options is posted at Kauai.gov/COVIDtest.
