Transfer Station Restrictions

Due to ongoing maintenance at the Hanalei refuse transfer station, scrap metal is not accepted until further notice.

Customers should bring their materials to the Kapa‘a or Līhu‘e refuse transfer stations. All transfer stations are open daily from 7:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., except for holidays.

As a reminder, appliances are not accepted at the Līhu‘e refuse transfer station. Residents may also bring scrap metal and appliances to the Puhi Metals Recycling facility free of charge Monday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
