Save the Date: Waimea 400 Master Plan Virtual Community Meeting on June 17
Three conceptual site plan alternatives for the Waimea 400 site will be presented during the next virtual community meeting scheduled for Thursday, June 17, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
The Waimea 400 Master Plan refers to the 417-acre parcel on the mauka side of Kaumualiʻi Highway, between Waimea and Kekaha, which the County of Kaua‘i purchased in 2018.
Registration for this meeting is available at the project website, www.waimea400.com. Following the meeting, the Waimea Public Library will host an outdoor, in-person Talk Story session about the conceptual design alternatives on Wednesday, June 23.
Contact the library branch manager, Michelle Young, at 808-338-6848 if you would like to attend as space is limited. After the Talk Story session, the three conceptual site plan alternatives will be posted at the library and written comments can be submitted in the comment box until the end of June.
