Emergency Water Service Shutdown Scheduled in Kapa‘a

An emergency water service shutdown is scheduled in Kapa‘a for a mainline repair.

The water will be shut off from approximately 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Areas affected are a portion of Kuamo’o Road; from Opaeka’a Road to Pa’ako Street. The other areas impacted include Aleo Street, Pa’ako Street, Kuhoho Street, Lihau Street, Iliki Street, Hie Street, Molo Street and Alahele Street.

An intermittent one-lane road closure may be implemented on Kuamo’o Road to create a safe work zone. Flagger personnel will assist with traffic when needed.

Customers located in the affected service area are advised to prepare for the shutdown by storing water to meet essential needs until water service can be restored.
