Roadwork Scheduled in ‘Ele‘ele

Roadwork is scheduled in ‘Ele‘ele on weekdays starting Monday, June 7.

According to the Department of Public Works, work is scheduled on Aewa Street and will occur June-15 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting.

The scope of work includes seal coating of the asphalt roadway. The road will be closed during the seal coating. No parking will be allowed on the road or road shoulders. No driving or stepping onto the wet seal coat material.

The map below identifies specific locations and dates on the project. Motorists are advised to be on the lookout for Road Work signs and road workers.

No parking on the road shoulders or roads within the work zones will be allowed, and any vehicle left in the work zone after 8 a.m. will be towed away at the driver’s/owner’s expense.
